The Rock Project

As much as we want to deny it: grad students live under a rock. Unless its major related... we tend to find excuses to ignore it. "WWIII? I was saving lives AND working on my case presentation!" (Okay, not to that extreme...We HOPE.) So once in a while between our coffee breaks/wine nights, cramming, group meetings, rounds of Catan, underpaid jobs, writing papers, and chronically staying up too late (for no real reason we admit)… we try to come out from under that rock. Here goes!

L.A. Burdick Chocolate Stop in at this chocolate shop and café to pick up a sweet gift and stay to enjoy a hot beverage and pastry. L.A. Burdick carries a lovely assortment of classic and novelty chocolates, dipped fruits, and gift baskets. Owner Larry Burdick’s signature novelty treats are the utterly adorable chocolate mice, available in several varieties.

Commentary: Very nice place to meet up during a break, amazing hot chocolate, and a great assortment of dark chocolate (which the staff is knowledge about. Found out about the hot chocolate thru a Tufts Alumni who made me bring him back a bag since he thought it was so nostalgic. Did I mention there are chocolate mice?
