Lilz is off to Bali!!

FINISH CLASSES – then off to BALI! AUG 18-SEPT 8
Story behind it: Probably one of the more spontaneous things I’ve done…
I realized i had 3 weeks of vacation. Where to go though? Posted it on fb and 1st reply back was Jeff’s “meet me in bali, i’ll be there all of august.!” (mon afternoon 4pm)…considering I was mentally checked out for summer already I called my mom to ask “what she thought of bali” “its beautiful, why?” which I took as a “you can go.”
Then came the logistics…WTF am I gonna go there and how long am I going for? The former was more due to fact that I didn’t know anyone in the country after Aug 27. The answer ended up being: “You’ll figure it out.”-JH *Shrugs* Sure why not?
Woke up 8am Wed to cram for my exam, but instead looked up flights. The roomies stopped me from buying the flight until I came back from my final. Within 48 hrs I had something to look forward to in August.
Unrefundable ticket… Figured the rents would be pissed due to lack of discussing it. Dad called me up “so I heard ur going to indonesia.” which was the entire conversation. Then my mom ended up saying: “I hope ur not skipping school to go.” (I’m not) “I also think the amazon would be a great place to go..” (Mom isn’t that dangerous?) “It will would be a lot of fun and Ive always wanted to go to Russia too. L you aren’t very exciting.” (Uhhh k)

Bali – could u resist?
Learn to surf, use the diving certificate to the fullest, SKY DIVE (looked it up…cheaper then in swiss).
Probably eat everything in sight…RELAX!! no ADDing I promised. >_<

Aug 28-Sept 7

Bali- Temple of Dreams
Left alone to explore the place. Making a few buddies thru CS and gonna meet up with them. I’ll take some surfing lessons, trekking tours, see temples, rice paddies, etc. If I get really bored Ill fly out to another country or island. (sorry jono..OZ is a bit pricey!)

Oh yea..make it back alive. I have a red eye back from LAX and will be back in AA 3-4 hrs before my first class.
